Since the start of term in reading, we have been looking at Dog Wars by Michael Wagner. The students have been making predictions and creating alternative front covers using the information provided in the blurb and illustrations on the front and back cover.

Integrated Studies - ANZAC Day
Students explore the contributions made by men and women who have served Australia in conflicts and/or peace keeping missions around the world.
Natural Disasters - Does Australia have the safest environment in the world? How to survive a natural disaster?
Students will investigate the causes of different natural disasters and the impact they can have on communities and environments. Students investigate different preparations and precautions that can take before, during and after disasters have struck to stay safe.

This week students finished off, published and presented their 'If I Ruled the World' project. Students were asked to use their knowledge of government styles, voting and law making processes to create their own country.
Students published their work on their weebly site and used this site to assist with their presentation to the class.
Make sure to look at your child's site and ask them to explain the choices they made.
